I know what you might be feeling. you see I have been married to my sailor for a 1 1/2, and have been through 5 deployments since we have been married. Now we are on shore duty in Guam and yes there is another deployment this time to Iraq for 6 mths. He will be missing his sons 1st birthday and all the holidays that come along after it. I personally don't know you but I know how you are feeling. I honestly don't think it ever gets easy watching them leave but it helps them when they know that at the homefront you are taking care of it. one less stress for them. There deployments will fly by if you stay busy at least that helps for me. if you want to ever chat you can at imswtpea4u2luv@hotmail.com ttyl erin crews

Hello,
Well my husband has been deployed twice. He just left about 2 weeks ago. He got deployed to Iraq and the 1st time it was Kuwait. It's hard but you know what just keep your head up. We've been married 8 yrs and we have a 10yr old daughter. You don't know how hard it is for her to not have her dad around. It hurts me. Do you have kids? I cry, I cry to his mom but she tells me everything will be ok. If you feel down, talk to someone. Or something else I've learned, just write down your feelings & thoughts in a journal. And when you're finished with the journal mail it to him so that he has something to read and knows what's going on in your life. Well I do think that military wives, families, etc should support one another. that's why I am here. Take care:o
