Hi, my name is jessie. My husband is in the Air Force. He is currently away. Im not going to say where but it will be for a while. I was just wanted to see if there were any ladies willing to chat? If so, Im here. The past two months have been rough but its not even half way over yet. My daughter and I are hanging in there. I hope this time goes by quickly.

my fiance is in the army. We just found out we're pregnant with our first child, we're so excited. But it sucks b/c the baby is due in January and he leaves in March. So I kinda know what you guys are going through. But best of luck to everyone!

I understand what you are going through and believe me it gets easier by the week. You never really stop missing him, but you do stop hurting as much. My husband was sent away when I was 7 months pregnant and he just returned this Monday. He was away for 6 1/2 months and he just met our little one for the 1st time. Hang in there and just be around the people who love you and support you. I know it doesn't compare to having your hubby near, but they do make things a little easier. Remember to look for people who can relate with what you are going through. I know having wives and girlfriends of military men email me helped. You take and he'll be back.
