hey my name is sarah. i have been a marine wife for almost 2 years now. my husband is currently at his first squadron in Iwakuni, Japan. he has been there since october and will be home in october. we will be in Beaufort, SC next. i can't wait to get there. it is hard being a marine wife. we have a 1 year old girl named caitlin together. it is hard raising her without him. but we have 2 1/2 years left with the marines. anyone who ever wants to talk let me know.

Hi, I am the wife of and army national guard solider who is currently in Iraq. He has been gone since August and will not return till November. We had a beautiful baby boy this last April and by a miracle he got to be here for it. It was so amazing..I can't imagine being a marine wife while your husband is gone so long because him being gone this long is hard enough. It has been a little bit of a struggle because we were only married for 2 weeks before he left and then soon after he was gone I found out I was pregnant so to say the least this year has been a rollercoaster for us both. But I guess our love just gets us through and soon it will all be over. I think you are absoulutely amazing for being stron enough to almost live this lifestyle full time women like you are the ones that make me see that my situation is not that bad!! He's On The 31st Meu And Right Now He's Heading Back To Okinawa. Then They'll Be Returning To Iwakuni. He's Coming Back Next Month And I'm Real Excited Cause He'll Be Meeting Our Son For The First Time.
