Hello Everyone

I have recently joined the forum and would like everyone out there to know that there is a group that provideds support, encouragement, and TLC to families and/friends who have little support while their loved one is deployed. I started this group because I heard about two women who were pregnant and needed someone to talk to and know that they were not along ~ one woman was on bed rest. Well they both had beautiful little baby boys 3 months apart. I remain in contact even today. Because I saw such a need I started the group called Deployed Family Support. I show web sites logo and other military things on my space space site. (http://www.myspace.com/threejarr)

If you could find some time to check out the website (www.deployedfamilysupport.com) I would be really grateful. In doing so you will obtain more info about what I do (and my "Angel's of Support) for those at home ~ that could include husbands/wives, girlfriends/boyfriends, family members, and even our wounded soldiers.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or are interested in becoming a part of the program. If you know of any one who could benefit from the program you can send me an e-mail at: threejarr@yahoo.com

Remember, the angels are always watching over you and keeping you and your family safe.

Thank you so very much for you time.

Renee

My Husband Got Deployed When I Was A Little Over 7 Months. I Also Almost Lost My Baby At 25 Weeks And Was Put On Bed Rest For A Couple Weeks. It Was A Depressing Pregnancy, Because I Knew He Would Be Deployed Before Having Ethan. He Returns Next Month And Hasn't Met Our Little One Yet. It's Been Hard, But I Don't Think I Would Have Made It Without The Support Of My Family And Friends. Although They Are Here For Me Sometimes I Feel Lost In My Feelings, Because They Can't Relate. I Keep In Contact With Marine Wives Through Myspace. It Crazy How Someone Being On The Same Boat Can Help So Much. It's Hard Because Although I'm Not A Single Mother At Times I Feel Like It. I Send My Husband Pictures Almost Everyday And He Seems Excited To Know He'll Be Home Soon To Join In On Raising Our Baby.

If I may make a suggestion, can you afford to purchase a web cam? I provided support to a woman whose husband was in Iraq and being able to send him "live" pics of what the baby was doing was the best moral booster for him. This way he was always connected with his son and the progress he was making on a daily basis. In fact mom and I remain friends and she sends me pics as well as web cam which I think is the greatest thing. If you can invest in one I definately would. Check the internet to compare prices.
