3ds Max objects to a video game?

How do you add your own 3ds Max objects to a video game? Ok as my name says, i am a 2nd year animator. I own a copy of 3ds max 7, and I want to put some cool weapons in, lets say Oblivion. I need to know what I need, where to get it, and how it works.

ANY ONE THAT HELPS ME WILL GET CUSTOM MADE STUFF!!!

My buddy has the game and will let me borrow his laptop to give him some cool weapons and armor.

Please I really want to make my 2nd year fun!!
