hi my name is jessica, i am in the US Navy. my soon to be husband is in the army and is serving in iraq right now. the navy has had a huge inpact on my life. my dad was a E-9 in the navy and my mom was a E-7. I lose my dad jan 1, 2006 to the war in iraq, it is one of the reasons i joined because i saw how much he loved his job, 3 weeks later i lost my mom to the war. It has been hard for me but i have really great friends who have got me through this. I am just looking for people to talk to i don't really know anyone out here.

I'm glad you joined the Navy, I am prior enlisted and I know what a great experience it will be for you and what a wonderful family the navy is. My husband is on deployment right now, he's in the Navy and it’s been really hard on me. Keep your spirits up! If you need someone to talk to I'm all ears:) Angela
