i supouse u are editing ur html web page right?
r u using any editor?
if u are using dreamweaver u must introduce the whole path
http:// wwww. yourfrienddir .com without the blank spaces..
do i answer ur question?

I guess you are using html ,you need to trace the whole path i.e the source to solve this problem.
