Well, here's how it goes.
I'm 14, in high school and I have a problem! About a month ago I caught the eye of a boy at school. Now, he's cute, funny, and "sexy" in his own way. So we went out for about a day. But it was then that I realized I needed more time to get to know him before I went out. He understood and we decided to stay friends. After a month of long phone conversations, we wanted to go out again. So as of yesterday, we're together! But...
There are a few problems. Society-wise, we're close to polar opposites. My family is very...judgemental...and thinks social grace is the the big thing that makes up one's personality. We live in a "nicer" house, while he lives in an (almost) trailor park. Now, this isn't a problem to me, because I could care less where he lived, but I'm a bit worried about my grandparents point of view.
The second problem posed is school. You see, I'm the 4.0 stereotypical nerd. Yup. 100% nerd. Intelligence and grades are very important to me. Well...he on the other hand, has about a 2.0 GPA. a D to C average. This kind of bothers me...should it?
And the last problem...Y'know when I said there was a month of phone conversations? well, a couple of times there were some "sensual" subjects brought up. In a joking manner of course, I mean, we're teens, you can't blame us for cracking a joke or two on that subject. But I've never had a boyfriend before, and I am by no means ready to get into THAT kind of relationship...maybe never before marriage. I just hope I didn't give him the wrong impression by talking about it.
I appreciate everyone's views!

P.S. We both have braces. -_- any tips for...erm...kissing?
