How many chances do you give a guy?

I have been dating someone for over two months; we got really close in this short period of time. I really care for him but he has laid to me a lot and runs to his mother’s house when things aren’t so great around here. I keep taking him back because of my feelings for him, but this time I am not so sure.

I would stop pulling the umbilical cord to coil him back to you. If he keeps running to Mom then he shows signs of immaturity.

I agree. Maybe two or three chances, but after that....I would say so long. Especially lying. If you have been dating him for only two months and have caught him in lies already, then I think you would only be setting yourself up for more troubles. I would, only because I've done it. But only if he apologized and I really felt that he meant it. And then make plans where you are with a bunch of friends, playing pool or something where he has prove that he wants to be with you, eg he has to get along with ur friends.
